Terms and Conditions

Use of our website and purchase of goods from the website are governed by our terms and conditions as set out below. "We" or "Our" means HomeKit and/or and of it’s member sites or affilliates. "You" or "your" means the person accessing, using or ordering from our website over the Internet.

The legal trading name of our company is Everest Holdings Ltd

 

1 Prices, description, availability of goods and installations.

All goods are sold subject to availability. Where goods are temporarily out of stock we will contact you and advise you of this and the expected timing for delivery, or offer you a similar product. Whilst we take our utmost care to ensure the product descriptions, pictures, information and prices are accurate we do not accept liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions. Orders are accepted at our sole discretion and we maintain the right to decline orders without giving an explanation.

Installations include wiring the product and mounting, however modifications to the appliance or cabinetry may incur an additional charge. Further more power, gas and ducting (if applicable) must be already run to the point at which the appliance is to be installed. 

 

2 Payment methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard and QCard payments through our Paystation payment gateway and direct bank deposits/internet banking. All orders will be dispatched upon clearance of funds. Please contact us if you would like to pay cash.

Please note: The name that will appear on your statement is "Everest Holdings Ltd".

 

3. GST

All goods sold in NZ include Goods & Services Tax (GST).

 

4. Delivery

All purchases made through a Stylish Living Group Store attract free delivery within mainland New Zealand. Additional fees will be charged for deliveries outside this area, eg, Stewart Island, Waiheke Island, or international.

5. International Orders

If you are based out of New Zealand and are looking to buy an appliance please contact us by telephone or email. In this case we will require extra information to process any order and we do not guarantee we will be able to supply you in every situation.

 

6. Warranty

Purchasing your new appliance from our website gives you the same warranty protection as buying direct from any retailer and your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 still protect you. The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not cover any purchases of goods made for business purposes, however they may be covered by a manufacturer's warranty.

 

7. Returns and Refunds


If you wish to return the product you purchased or cancel your order we will only agree to do this after consultation with you and provided we feel there is a valid reason for processing a refund, or exchange. Simply changing your mind is not a valid reason. In this situation we may still consider refunding your purchase however there will be a charge for doing so to cover our costs. We always send out goods in brand new condition and so we have to have all returned goods reboxed and checked by a service technician – this costs us 15% of the total sale price, plus a $25 admin fee if the purchase price is less than $300. We wish this was avoidable but unfortunately we must always send out new products to our customers. Freight from your address back to us will be at your cost and responsibility.

Any return will only be accepted based on the above and if the product is still in its original unopened packaging, is undamaged and in the complete condition as it was shipped to you.

HomeKit uses standard software for monitoring statistical information such as how many visitors we have to our websites and what countries they are coming from. These statistics are viewed on an aggregate basis and help us get general overviews of customer trends. We do not look at individual customer data. Personal information specific to each Vendor's sales is treated as strictly confidential and will only be reviewed or examined in the event of a dispute, claim, error or customer request.
